The authority released a statement yesterday, June 27, saying that, despite reports circulating in certain sections of the social media, police are not authorised to stop and search people for foreign currency.<\/p>\n
The statement says that the new regulations \u201c\u2026will not negatively affect the travelling public, specifically foreign visitors.
