This s festival is for you if you are you a film director / producer, if  you have a company in the area of communication and / or audiovisual, if you promote tourism destinations, if  you work in the tourism industry, if you have promotional films, advertising campaigns, documentaries or television programs.

Organised by the Sustainable Tourism Partnership Programme (STTP) with the support of Brand South Africa and in cooperation with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), ITFFA aims to contribute to the development of domestic and international tourism while encouraging growth in the local film industries.

The festival has two competition sections – Tourism Communications and Tourism Documentaries.

We have created a platform for Africa to showcase itself as a filming destination as well as a tourism destination.  We have the skills, the talent, facilities, and great weather to encourage international filmmakers to produce their commercials and films in Africa.

“Growing the film industry automatically grows the tourism industry as film productions require, among other services, accommodation, catering, entertainment, tours, and transport.”

“We urge you to enter the competition. It is Free, and will only take five minutes for a chance to win an award with worldwide recognition. This is an ideal opportunity to increase the visibility and exposure of your work, to promote your product, and to reach a worldwide network”, says Caroline Ungersbock, Festival Director of ITFFA.
